Swim Lessons in Knoxville, TN

We seek to provide highly individualized private, semi-private, and group swim lessons in Knoxville, TN that will meet your swimming needs and goals. We give swim lessons to people of all levels including beginners, summer league swimmers, competitive swimmers, and triathletes. Learn to swim with us!

Who

We teach adults of all ages and all ability levels. You would be surprised how fast adults can learn!

We typically teach beginner students 1-3 y/o with parents in the water. Kids 3+ typically just need the instructor.

We believe anyone can learn to swim in their own style, regardless of disability. All are welcome here!

What

One-on-one lessons for the most individualized approach.

15 minute or 30 minute lessons

A group of 2 to 3 students. You form the group with family and/or friends.

30 minute lessons

Where

We use indoor pools August – May. We use outdoor residential host pools May – July throughout Knoxville, TN so you can take swim lessons close to home. Locations and times are on the book page.

If you have a private residential pool or know someone who does in the Knoxville Area, we can come to you! Usually only available May – September.

LEVEL SYSTEM

- Beginner with little to no swimming experience
- (Ages 4+) Will NOT willingly and independently put their entire face in the water for 5 seconds
- (Ages 1 - 3) Will NOT willingly fully submerge just under surface of water for 3 seconds while being held
- Has not learned to make independent forward progress in the water

- Beginner with little to no swimming experience
- (Ages 4+) WILL willingly and independently put their face in the water for 5 seconds
- (1-3 year olds) WILL willingly fully submerge just under surface of water for 3 seconds while being held
- Has not learned to make independent forward progress in the water

Already able to do the following:
- Make independent forward progress with face in the water for about 5 seconds

Already able to do the following:
- Take multiple breaths while swimming 5 yards OR perform swim-roll-back float-roll-swim combo one time

- Great for learning strokes or Summer League Prep
- Great for learning to be safe and independent in the water
Already able to do the following:
- Swim 10 yards, tread water for 30 seconds, then swim 2 yards to the wall OR perform multiple swim-roll-back float-roll-swim combos for 12 yards

- Great for stroke improvement or Summer League Refresher
Already able to do the following:
- Swim 20 yards, tread water for 1 minute, then swim 5 yards to the wall
- Swim 1 lap of freestyle breathing to the side at beginner level

- Preparing for a Competitive Swim Team
- Already participating in a Competitive Swim Team
- Preparing for competing in Triathlons
- Already competing in Triathlons
